This is the material with which Santa&Cole has made the lamp:
Poplar is a tree characteristic of the banks of rivers and wetlands, producer of a soft wood, little gnarled and white, which must be cut down before autumn to maintain its whiteness and flexibility.
With this material, very common and popular, the pioneering designer Ferrán Freixa conceived a peculiar screen of oriental flavor, almost zen, built with very thin vertical strips adhered to a minimum circular structure of metal rods.
