The suspension lamp: Spokes by FOSCARINI.

This lamp is inspired by the suggestions derived from ancient oriental lanterns to the most domestic aviary.

The realization is born from the observation of the spokes of a bicycle wheel, from which the project also takes the name: Spokes, which in English means precisely spokes.

The result is a lamp of soft shape and with a light volume that contains the light, letting it filter into the space.

Technical information of the Spokes lamp:

Collection of suspension lamps of two shapes and two colors, for a total of 6 different solutions. The steel rod spokes, painted matte with epoxy powder, are coupled at the top to two discs in ABS / polycarbonate and at the bottom to the aluminum module that serves as housing and heatsink of the two LED cards.

The electrical cable that powers the cards is invisible because it is housed in one of the radios. Suspension cable in stainless steel and transparent electric cable, ceiling floron with zinc-plated metal stirrup and coverage in ABS colored in the bright white molding compound.
