The incredible history of Gatcpac design:
Torres Clavé was an architect who, sadly, died prematurely in the Spanish Civil War. He was one of the founders of Gatcpac.
The Gatcpac was a group that promoted rationalist architecture and the Modern Movement. The members of this group, together with Claé, left in the places that designed this luminaire.
Since it symbolized as the signature of this collective.
Santa &Cole was able to take advantage of the plans of Torres Clavé to be able to get this incredible luminaire standing again.
Here's how Gatcpac is made:
The Gatcpac standing luminaire is formed by a metal base and a high shaft of wide section, which would be like a column of great nudity.
At the top end of it, there is a ball joint that holds the screen and allows it to move wherever you want.
You can orient the screen upwards, with which you will get direct illumination. Or to one side or the other for more direct illumination, whether for reading, writing, etc.
