AMIGO (short for "apply miguel and gonzalo") is the first product designed jointly by Spanish designers Miguel and Gonzalo Milá, father and son.
Designed on behalf of SANTA & COLE on the occasion of the renovation works of our headquarters in Parc de Belloch.
Materials: white metal structure. Cylindrical diffuser of translucent methacrylate.
How is this luminaire made?
It is an opaque central disc that contains a light source and whose translucent vertical walls constitute a kind of internal screen through which light flows.
Being threaded in an outer container of equal height but greater diameter, the distance between the two produces the effect of a luminous ring that does not dazzle laterally.
The advantage of its high tightness is that, in addition to protecting its electronic components, it prevents insects from nesting, which keeps it clean and uniformly radiant.
